• You already know at least two ways to express the future in Spanish: by using the
present tense or by using ir + a + infinitive:
Mañana tengo una entrevista.
I have an interview tomorrow.
Vamos a traducir el documento.
We are going to translate the document.
• The future can also be expressed in Spanish by using the future tense. The endings
for the future tense are the same for regular -ar, -er, and -ir verbs. For regular
verbs, the endings are attached to the infinitive. See two examples below:
