El sistema jidoka tiene su nacimiento en la planta textil de la
familia Toyoda (cuya fábrica de automóviles pasó a llamarse
TOYOTA).
Este sistema fue inventado en el año 1924 por su fundador Sakichi
Toyoda y luego mejorado por Shigeo Shingo.
Tiene la característica que, cuando el telar detectaba alguna rotura
de sus hilos, en lugar de seguir paraba en forma automática.
Vale decir, la máquina detectaba el error.
De aquí la idea de autonomación ( automación con toque humano)

de polímeros), el corte de la lámina origina un desperdicio enorme,
ya que debe tirarse todo lo impreso y consecuentemente volver a
enhebrar todo el sistema.
Por lo tanto, una serie de sensores detectan dicha anormalidad y
