This End of Degree Project deals with the changes in the partial retirement laws, which has
been enforced by the Decree-law 5/2013, and its impact either in the Social Security system
or in the current workers and enterprises.
The major cause of these changes is supported in the need of encouraging an active ageing
within the population and drive reforms in the job market by the job creation using
replacement contracts. It will be more difficult to join the partial retirement before ordinary
retirement age, stimulating such a longer worker life though.
Partial retirement is also going to be a tool with the purpose of passing on the knowledge
related to the job, between the former worker and the new employee, if the situation will
happen.

Este Trabajo Fin de Grado versa sobre los cambios introducidos a la jubilación
parcial por el Real Decreto-ley 5/2013 y su impacto tanto en el sistema de la
Seguridad Social como en los propios trabajadores y empresas.
Las motivaciones principales de estos cambios se sustentan en la necesidad de
fomentar un envejecimiento activo de la población e impulsar la creación de empleo
mediante el contrato de relevo. Se endurece su acceso antes del cumplimiento de la
edad ordinaria incentivando como he indicado, una vida laboral más prolongada.
La jubilación parcial pasa a ser también una herramienta que sirve como transmisor
de conocimientos en el puesto de trabajo entre el relevado y el relevista, si ese fuera
el caso.
