Está en casa de acogida.Yago necesita una
familia comprensiva y espacio o largos paseos en
los que pueda liberar suficiente energía.
El caso de Yago sigue siendo especial. Necesita
salir del refugio cuanto antes porque la jaula sólo
consigue potenciar su problema de estrés.

Yago sigue en el refugio. Parece que su
obsesión con el rabo está suavizándose, pero
necesita salir de allí y sentirse querido de nuevo

-----------------------------------------------------Yago es un mestizo de Shar pei, de unos 2
años, que fue adoptado cuando era un cachorro
y devuelto por problemas de conducta un año
después. Su caso es especial, porque aunque no
haya recibido golpes, Yago ha sufrido mucho. Él
sólo quería jugar y su dueño no se molestó en
enseñarle con qué podía hacerlo, así que decidió
ponerle un bozal en casa, las 24h. del día. Ésto
hizo que su estrés se multiplicara hasta el punto

de desarrollar una estereotipia, que hace que se
autolesione. Yago se ataca su propio rabo y se lo
destrozaba tanto que tuvimos que cortárselo,
pero aún así sigue intentando mordérselo y a
veces se llaga. Además, el exceso de horas con
el bozal puesto le producía una dermatitis en
todo el hocico que hoy en día ya está sanada.
Yago no es un mal perro, pero no supieron
educarlo ni dedicarle el tiempo que necesitaba y,
cuando lo recuperamos, Yago le tenía miedo a
todo, no se dejaba acariciar por estraños,
atacaba a otros perros... estaba completamente
desequilibrado, pero teniendo en cuenta su
historia, es normal.
Ahora convive con otros perros en un refugio y
es mucho más sociable con las personas y las
respeta, y no ataca a los gatos.
El único problema es que donde está no se le
puede tratar de su obsesión con el rabo y cuando
se lo ataca, lo hace gruñiendo, lo que a veces
provoca a sus compañeros. Este es el detonante
de las posibles peleas, porque aunque Yago no
sea quien las empieza, no es un perro que se tire
al suelo cuando le muerden. A veces cuando me
mira leo en sus ojos "no me entienden...".
Yago no es feliz allí, necesita un hogar y un
dueño paciente que le de el cariño y el tiempo
suficiente que necesita para reparar todo el daño
recibido.
Suerte pequeño! No nos rendiremos hasta verte
feliz.

Yago is not a bad dog, but were unable to

much more sociable with people and respected,
