TIENDA EN BARCELONA
Le Creuset, la firma que cuenta con más de 80 años de experiencia en el
diseño, fabricación y distribución de menaje para la cocina, ha inaugurado
recientemente una nueva tienda en la ciudad condal de Barcelona.
La tienda, ubicada en la Calle Consell de Cent 357, cuenta con un espacio de más
de 140 m2 entre zona de exposición y venta. El espacio, diseñado para mostrar
toda la gama de productos de la marca, ofrece también una zona show cooking
donde se harán demostraciones en directo para los amantes de la cocina.
Para iluminar este nuevo espacio se han utilizado, en su gran mayoría, luminarias
con tecnología LED de Grupo MCI para crear un ambiente singular, moderno
y con personalidad, al mismo tiempo que se consigue ahorro en consumo
energético y en mantenimiento de las luminarias.
El escaparate de la tienda se ha iluminado de forma dinámica y con cambio de
color utilizando cuatro proyectores lineales Line Grazer® RGB que garantiza
una luz uniforme y de alto rendimiento. Además, para iluminar de forma puntual
los elementos del escaparate se han utilizado los proyectores Euro Spot (60º y 15º)
con el carril estándar de tres fases en blanco.
En la zona central de la tienda tres grandes círculos se forman simulando la parte
inferior de las ollas de cocina. Para dar forma y mayor realismo a estos elementos se
ha empotrado la luminaria SmartLedFlex® Round en blanco frío. SmartLedFlex®
es una luminaria lineal flexible perfecta para proporcionar efectos decorativos
que proporciona una luz homogénea sin puntos visibles. Esta luminaria está
disponible tanto en acabado redondo como cuadrado.
Como iluminación general se han utilizado los downlight Beret en blanco
equipados con lámparas G12.
Las estanterías donde está colocado el producto se han iluminado con tiras de
LED Linear Flex. La gama de luminarias Linear Flex son la solución perfecta
para aplicaciones curvilíneas o de espacios reducidos, y se utilizan para proporcionar
luz indirecta y de alto rendimiento. Sus reducidas dimensiones permiten integrarse
perfectamente en cualquier superficie sin alterar la arquitectura del mismo.
Finalmente, la interiorista Mar Garcia del Estudio de Interiorismo Mar Interiores,
dio un toque de diseño muy personalizado, y con las ollas tradicionales Le Creuset
diseñó cinco luminarias de suspensión muy originales equipadas con lámparas
QR111 de 19W.

INTERNACIONAL 2012, LAS VEGAS
Del 9 al 11 de mayo tuvo lugar en el Centro de Convenciones
de Las Vegas la Feria LightFair Internacional.
Grupo MCI, una de las únicas empresas Españolas que participó en esta feria, cruzó el charco y se traslado durante 3 días hasta Las Vegas
para presentar por primera vez sus últimas novedades en iluminación arquitectural con LED. Algunos de los productos que se presentaron
fueron el Square Grazer, SmartLedFlex®, Ground Liner, LedFloodStrip® II, Led Strip y el Line Grazer®.
Light Fair Internacional es una de las ferias anuales más importantes y grandes del mundo sobre iluminación arquitectural y comercial,
y conferencias que se celebra en Estados Unidos. Este evento se caracteriza por mostrar la luz en todos sus aspectos, y ofrece una amplia
gama y variedad de aplicaciones, diseños de alta gama y tecnología de última generación. Cada año LFI atrae a los profesionales más
importantes, tanto a nivel nacional e internacional, del diseño, la iluminación, arquitectura e ingeniería de todo el mundo.
Tal y como comenta Silvia Morales, Responsable de Marketing y Comunicación de Grupo MCI “LightFair Internacional es una excelente
oportunidad para poder ver en pocos días que está sucediendo en el mercado de la industria de la iluminación. Además, Lightfair es

LE CREUSET OPEN A NEW STORE
IN BARCELONA, SPAIN
Le Creuset, with more than 80 years experience in the design, manufacture
and distribution of kitchenware, has recently opened a new store in the city
center of Barcelona, Spain.
The 140 m2 exposition is located at Calle Consell de Cent 357. The showroom
offers the visitors an experience thought out a full range of products and offering
a show cooking and more delights for gastronomy lovers.
While reaching efficiency in maintenance and energy consumption, this new
space has mainly been equipped with LED lighting supplied by Grupo MCI to
create a special, modern unique atmosphere.
For illuminating the windows with a dynamic and color changing effects, four
Line Grazer® were used. Line Grazer® is a powerful and highly efficient linear
wall washer made of robust aluminium housing and a UV resistant
polycarbonate cover.
Also, to illuminate the displayed elements from the windows, the Euro Spot
projector with three phase standard white rail was installed.
In the center of the store, three impressive ring shaped circles simulate the
bottom of the cooking pots. In order to enhance this idea the SmartLedFlex®
Round has been recessed. SmartLedFlex® is a flexible linear lighting product for
both indoor and outdoor (IP66) applications. It is perfect for decorative lighting
that provides a high performance homogenous light without visible dots.
The swivel downlight type Beret in white equipped with G12 lamp, has been
choose for the general lighting of the store.
Shelves around the store have been light by the Linear Flex strip. The new
ranges of Linear Flex are the flexible linear LED solutions, for applications with
curving linear surfaces or limited space. The product is very flexible and can be
installed easily onto any surface. Its small size enables it to be seamlessly
integrated into architectural spaces.
Finally, the interior Designer Mar Garcia (Mar Interiores Studio) gave her
personal touch to the store by creating a customized suspension lamp made of
the traditional cooking pots equipped with QR111 19W, very originals and
unique.

The Lightfair International Fair was held at the Convention
Center in Las Vegas the 9th to the 11th of May this year.
For the first time, Grupo MCI, as the only Spanish company that participated in this fair, crossed the ocean to present their latest LED
lighting technology during 3 days. A few of the products presented were the Square Grazer, the SmartLedFlex®, the Ground Liner,
the LedFloodStrip® II, the Led Strip and the Line Grazer®.
