CANCIONES CARGADAS DE FUERZA EN UN GRUPO QUE MEJORA SUSTANCIALMENTE EN DIRECTO. ESPECTÁCULO CON DEMOLEDOR DESPARPAJO
Después de diez años de escenarios compartiendo cartel con Fito y
Fitipaldis, Amaral o Pereza y la grabación de Bajo la Corteza (26
canciones de Leño) con Antonio Vega, Extremoduro o Luz Casal entre
muchos otros, los madrileños Garaje Jack se han consolidado como
un referente en el panorama español en cuanto a rock se refiere.
Su último trabajo de estudio "Todo eran Canciones" alcanzó el
número 1 en iTunes la semana de su estreno, cientos de conciertos
y giras (incluidas las cinco consecutivas en las cárceles de Madrid)
llevan a Garaje Jack a un éxito aplaudido por el público, profesionales y medios de comunicación y hacen del grupo sobretodo una
banda de directo y sobre el escenario es donde realmente se
sienten más cómodos y cobran más fuerza.
Empezaron allí donde se siente el calor del público; en salas como
Honky Tonk, Siroco, el Sol o el mítico y oscuro Laboratorio, donde el
calor del público es tan cercano que casi se convierte en un miembro más del grupo. Aquella fue la época de las primeras maquetas
y contratos discográficos frustrados. Pero empezaron a ganar
concursos y sumar fans y grabaron su primer CD “Alma en Celo”
(2001). Enseguida llegaron los festivales, pequeños y grandes:
Fémina-Rock, Festival Midem en Cannes, Viñarock, Extremúsica,
etc. y varias actuaciones como teloneros de Fito y Fitipaldis,
Amaral, Marea o Barricada, incluso fueron teloneros de los australianos Wolfmother en su gira por España.
Garaje Jack has released their third studio album "Todo eran
Canciones" produced by Manolo Camacho (Leño, Miguel Ríos, etc.)
and Osvi Grecco. After ten years on stage sharing the bill with bands
such as Amaral, Fito y Fitipaldis and Pereza and recording Bajo la
Corteza (26 cover versions of Leño) with Antonio Vega, Miguel Ríos
and Luz Casal among many others, the Madrid based band Garaje
Jack have consolidated their position on the Spanish rock scene.
6 nominations for the 8th Music Awards, named best Rock Band in
2008 by LH Magazine, number 1 on iTunes with their latest album,
presentation tours and 5 years on the run touring Madrid’s prisons
make Garaje Jack an eminently live band and on stage is where they
truly feel comfortable and come into their own.
They began playing clubs such as the Honky Tonk, Siroco, El Sol or the
legendary Laboratorio, where the audience is so close it’s almost
another band member. That was a time of demos and their first
recording contracts. They started to win competitions and win fans

El siguiente disco tenía que llegar y llegó. Se tituló “Traje Nuevo”
(2008) y evidenciaba un salto cualitativo en la banda, una evolución en la música y un sonido propio. El tiempo, el escenario y la
complicidad estaban haciendo un buen trabajo.
Actualmente bajo el amparo de BMG, su actual compañía de discos,
están de gira nacional e internacional presentando su último trabajo
"Todo eran Canciones", un disco grabado con la tranquilidad y la
experiencia que aportan los años, así como un CD+DVD en directo
del concierto que ofrecieron por sus 10 años en la carretera.

The band took a quantum leap forward with their second album in
2008 with “Traje Nuevo” (2008), a clear evolution in music and
sound. Time, experience on stage and closer ties were all doing their
job. More concerts, two back-to-back tours and after having signed
with BMG in 2010, their current record label, they released their third
album "Todo eran Canciones (2011) which they are currently touring
with. An album recorded with calm and experience they have gained
with the years and which went to number 1 on iTunes in Spain on the
week of its release. The band is currently preparing to release a music
video for their third single, a live dvd and are composing tracks for
their fourth studio album.
