National Flag Ceremony:

Please note that all students are required to be in the Junior School at 0930. We would be
grateful if you could ensure that your child attends the ceremony wearing the full winter uniform,
including the School blazer.
On this day we will celebrate the anniversary of the birth of José Gervasio Artigas. With great
pride, the Form 1 Junior School students will be making their promise of allegiance, and 1st year
Senior School students will pledge allegiance to the flag, in accordance with Uruguayan tradition
and regulation.
We invite all parents to accompany their children in this important ceremony, which represents a
significant moment in their School life.
Junior School parents are requested to leave their children at 0930 according to the room
allocation below. Then, they are kindly invited to go to the Gymnasium where the ceremony will
start at 1000 sharp.

Senior School students have to arrive at 0930 and go directly to Junior School according to the
following room allocation. Diplomas will be issued after the ceremony is over.

Todos los alumnos deberán presentarse en Junior School a las 0930. Agradecemos vuestra
cooperación en asegurarnos que sus hijos concurran con el uniforme de invierno completo,
incluyendo el blazer del colegio.
El 19 de junio se conmemora el Natalicio de Artigas. Es con gran orgullo que los alumnos de Form
1 de Junior prometerán su fidelidad y los alumnos de 1er año de Senior jurarán fidelidad a la
Bandera Nacional, de acuerdo con la tradición y normativa uruguaya.
Los invitamos a acompañar a sus hijos en esta ceremonia que representa un momento tan
importante de su vida académica.
Los padres de Junior School deberán dejar a sus hijos a las 0930 de acuerdo a los salones de la tabla
que sigue. Luego les invitamos a ir al Gimnasio donde la ceremonia comenzará puntualmente a las
1000.
