Setting: Legendary kingdom of King Arthur, fifth or sixth century A.D.
Sir Gawain hates Sir Launcelot because Launcelot killed Gawain’s brothers. Sir
Gawain convinces King Arthur to send Launcelot to France and then to attack
Launcelot there. Launcelot tries to make peace, but Gawain tells the king to keep
fighting.
While Arthur fights in France, Sir Modred takes over the kingdom. Arthur and
his army return home to fight Modred. Gawain is wounded. Before Gawain dies, he
writes to Launcelot and asks him to help King Arthur..
After Gawain dies, King Arthur has a dream. In the dream, Gawain tells Arthur to
stop fighting until Launcelot arrives. But will Launcelot arrive in time?
