Doctor O'Meagher es el Consejero de Educación de Latino América del Ministerio de
Educación de Nueva Zelandia. Hasta 2006 se desempeñó como Profesor Titular de
Historia y Director Fundador del Centro de Estudios Latinoamericanos de Nueva
Zelandia en la Universidad de Auckland. Como Consejero de Educación su labor es
fomentar vínculos entre el mundo educacional de Nueva Zelandia, Chile, Brasil,
Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina y Perú. Como Consejero del Ministerio de Educación y
del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y Comercio ha representado a Nueva Zelandia
en numerosos eventos.
