This site has lots of information about literacy and the
power of stories. There are also several stories. For
Spanish language learners, I recommend the stories
with illustrations because the pictures will help children
understand and learn the language. Many of the stories
also have excellent audio.
Este sitio tiene mucha información de la literatura y el
poder de los cuentos. También hay varios cuentos
para los alumnos que están aprendiendo español. Yo
recomiendo los cuentos con dibujos ya que los dibujos
ayudarán a los niños a entender y aprender el

This site features the work of illustrator Raquel
Blázquez Fernández and author María Bautista. There
many activities and passages to read. Some of the
stories are simple and others are more difficult, but I
find them enchanting. On the right sidebar
choose cuento a la vista – los cuentos que te
contamos to reach the stories. On that sidebar you will
also find coloréame, illustrations from the stories that
can be printed and colored. Children also
enjoy adivinanzas y trabalenguas (riddles and tongue
twisters).

muchas actividades y pasajes a leer. Algunos de los
cuentos son simples y otros más difíciles, pero son
encantadores. Al lado derecho de la barra escoja
cuento a la vista –los cuentos que te contamos para
alcanzas los cuentos. En esa misma barra de al lado
también encontrará coloréame. Ilustraciones de los
cuentos pueden ser imprimidas y coloreadas. Los
niños también disfrutan adivinanzas y trabalenguas.

cuatro niveles con una variedad de actividades en
cada nivel. Pulsa comenzar y después escoge un

are stories illustrated by children and for each one

teachers, a variety of online activities and art
activities. The illustrated stories can be read
online or printed as PDFs. The games can also be
downloaded to be played offline.
