Universitat Internacional de Catalunya XVIII edition of our Literary Competition Autor Se pueden presentar todos los miembros de la comunidad universitaria de UIC Barcelona a título individual (se puede presentar una obra por persona en cada categoría). Authors All members of the university community at UIC Barcelona can enter the competition individually (one piece of work per person in each category). Topic Open Language Catalan or Spanish Categories Short story (maximum 1.000 words) and/or poetry. Jury The jury will consist of experts from UIC Barcelona, who will assess the projects presented and award the prize, according to their criteria, for the best compositions. However, the jury reserves the right to declare the prize null and void if the quality of the projects is not good enough. The jury's decision cannot be appealed and there cannot be more than one award per participant. Prize A prize to the value of €100 will be awarded to the winner to be spent in the Garbí bookshop, for both the short story and poetry categories. The winning project will be announced on 21 April, and the prize will be awarded on the same day. Participation in this competition will imply the acceptance of these terms and conditions. UIC Barcelona reserves the right to accept and publish the texts presented.
