Hemos estado leendo el cuento, ¡No me asustó a mí! y encontramos muchas cosas de diferentes
colores afuera de la ventana. ¿Quién puede compartir una de esa cosas que vimos y el color?

Hoy vamos a leer un cuento que también tiene animales de diferente colores. En cada página
hacemos la pregunta, “What do you see?” Escuchen mientras que yo leo el cuento y después me
pueden decir lo que vieron.

This story is Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? Written by Eric Carle. As I read the story,
think about all the animals and what color they were.
 Read the story
 These are all the animals in the story. Each has a different color. Place pictures and colors
randomly on the chart. Then tell students they are going to practice talking about what
they saw in the story.
 Model with the group on thinking about what did they see in the book? Have the practice
the question/answer to be used in the discussion.
What do I see? I see a red bird. Get the picture of the bird and the word red. Place them
on the chart in the correct order.
En español decimos el color después y en íngles decimos el color antes.
 Now in pair, have student ask and answer the question to each other. When done have
them switch.
 Then select a student share what they see and come up to place on chart in order.

WRITING ACTIVITY
 Today we are going to write down one of the animals you saw in the story Brown Bear,
Brown Bear, What do you see?
 On your paper draw what you see make sure you color it.
Once this is done, model writing a sentence using the structure,
“I see a __________ ________.”
 Reinforce the difference of the adj/noun placement in English and model writing process.
I see a red bird. (optional) looking at me.
