Directive 2010/13/EU on the coordination of certain provisions laid down by law,
regulation or administrative action in Member States concerning the provision of
audiovisual media services in view of changing market realities

Decision:

The Coordinators appointed the following Groups to draw up a legislative



Ms Trüpel, Vice-Chair, chaired the meeting.
 Budget: change of timetable
The Coordinators heard the Vice-Chair explain that due to the delay of the
Commission´s presentation of the draft budget 2017 the vote on budgetary
amendments in CULT will not take place in the July meeting. A deadline for
amendments is set for 14 July at 14:00. The vote in the CULT Committee on the
budgetary AMs and the opinion will take place on 5 September unless the new
deadlines would make an extraordinary meeting at the end of August necessary.
 European Youth Orchestra
The Coordinators heard the Vice-Chair outlining the current state of play regarding
potential funding problems for the European Youth Orchestra.

Public hearing "Universities and the development of entrepreneurship and
innovation": Selection of experts
Decisions:
The Coordinators decided that the hearing on "Universities and the development of
entrepreneurship and innovation" will take place on 8 November 2016 (instead of 26
September as initially scheduled).

The Coordinators decided to invite the following experts to the hearing:

Public hearings 2016: Deadline for proposal of experts
a) Hearing on the AVMS Directive
Decisions:
 The Coordinators decided that the hearing on the AVMS Directive will take
place on 26 September 2016 (instead of 8 November, as initially scheduled).
 The Coordinators approved the deadline of 9 June, 12.00 p.m. for proposing
experts.
b) CULT mini-hearing on "The crisis of print media", 28 November 2016
Decision:
 The Coordinators approved the deadline of 9 June, 12.00 p.m. for proposing
experts.

Decision:
The Coordinators agreed with the proposed preliminary draft programme, underlining
that priority should be given to discussion between the Members and that therefore
presentations should be kept short.

a) Ms Adinolfi asked for clarifications on the procedure for deciding deadlines for
amendments and for the postponement of reports and opinions. It was decided that this
point will be discussed in the next Coordinators´ meeting.
b) Ms Verheyen asked for an update on the current works of Policy Department B.
c) Ms Verheyen raised the issue of potentially rescheduling the mission to Wroclaw.
