VICE-CHANCELLOR’S
SCHOLARSHIP
Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships are available to all new undergraduate and postgraduate students who meet the academic criteria at CQUniversity
Brisbane, Bundaberg, Gladstone, Mackay, Melbourne, Noosa, Rockhampton and Sydney.
Terms and Conditions
All Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship recipients are governed by these terms and conditions.
1. The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship is awarded, at the discretion of the University, to exceptional international students, undertaking on-campus,
full-time degree study at CQUniversity Australia.
2. The Vice-Chancellor’s scholarship is only available for students applying for Undergraduate or Postgraduate coursework award programs.
3. The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship is only available for full degree programs (full bachelor or masters only).
4. The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship is only available to students new to CQUniversity – it is not available to students who are currently studying
at CQUniversity or in conjunction with any other CQUniversity scholarship.
5. The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship is not transferable to a third party.
6. The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship remains valid whilst the recipient:
a. Remains enrolled in full-time study at the CQUniversity; and
b. Remains enrolled in the program listed on their Offer of Admission; and
c. Pays all tuition and additional fees/costs in accordance with CQUniversity policy; and
d. Meets the conditions of their student visa.
7. The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship will lapse if the student named on the Offer of Admission:
a. Does not maintain a 5.5 grade point average (GPA).
b. Graduates from the nominated program; or
c. Cancels their enrolment at CQUniversity.
8. The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship will be renewed term-by-term subject to the recipient meeting all other University requirements.
9. The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship is:
a. Calculated on a per term basis.
b. Not redeemable for cash.
10.A Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship may be withdrawn with 10 days written notice, should the recipient breach any of these conditions.
Appeals
a. There is no right of appeal should the applicant be unsuccessful in securing a scholarship.
b. A student who has received a Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship, but is advised that CQUniversity is withdrawing their scholarship, has 10 days to
appeal the decision.
The terms and conditions may be changed at any time and the University will provide 12 weeks written notice to all current Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship
recipients. If you are uncertain about any of the terms and conditions, please speak to the International Recruitment Executive at your campus.
