The Roosevelt Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

The Roosevelt Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) would like to invite all parents
to attend our next PTO meeting. PTO offers families an opportunity to learn what’s
happening at school, share ideas and make a difference in their child’s educational
experience. Please come and help with the many exciting activities that are planned for
this school year.
Anyone wishing to volunteer or become an active member is encouraged to join us
on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 5:30pm in our School Cafeteria/Gym. Topics of
discussion will be: Re-Election of PTO Members and Review Calendar of Events and
Fundraisers. We would also like to have at least one Parent/Family from each class to be
a Representative. If you are interested in being your child’s class Representative let
your child’s teacher know and we will see you at our meeting.
You’ll have fun being together with other parents & friends and the students will
have enjoyable, meaningful experiences as a result of your involvement.

La Organización de Profesores y Padres de Roosevelt (PTO) le gustaría invitar a
todos los padres asistir a nuestra siguiente junta de PTO. El PTO ofrece a familias una
oportunidad de aprender lo que pasa en la escuela, compartir ideas y hacer una diferencia
en la experiencia educativa de su niño/a. Por favor venga y ayude con muchas actividades
emocionantes que son planeadas para este año escolar.
Alguien deseando ofrecerse o hacerse un miembro activo es animado a afiliarse con
nosotros el proximo Miércoles, 10 de Octubre de 2012 a las 5:30pm en la Cafeteria. Los
temas de discusión serán: Re-elección de Miembros PTO y Revisar el Calendario de
Acontecimientos y Recaudadores de fondos. También nos gustaría tener a lo menos un
Padre/Familia de cada clase para ser un Representante. Si usted está interesado en ser
el Representante de la clase de su niño/a avise a al profesora de su niño/a y nos vemos en
la junta.
Usted se divertirá estando juntos con otros padres y amigos y los estudiantes
tendrán experiencias agradables, significativas a consecuencia de su participación.
