Proposal
UK and Mexico Art Competition Terms & Conditions
1. This competition is open exclusively for British artists and Mexican artists based in the UK. Artists
must show a proof of Residence in the UK.
2. All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions.
It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide
by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. All entries are to be submitted no later than 11:59pm December 13th 2015.
4. Submitted artwork must be your original creation. All art work must be the work of the individual
summiting it and must not have been published elsewhere or have won any prize in any other
competition. However this does not apply for pieces comprising the portfolio.
5. Your entry must not be otherwise be obscene, defamatory or in breach of any applicable
legislation or regulations.
6. All contestants must register for this contest by entering their name, email, age, and mailing
address, and agreeing to the terms and conditions of the contest.
7. The artist winners will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by The Embassy of Mexico and
it reserves the right to add or substitute any of the given members of the panel without previous
notification.
8. By submitting their portfolio of work and any art piece the contestant accepts that he/she has
the rights over said portfolio and or piece. By entering this Contest, each contestant consents to
the use of his/her name, artwork and portfolio in any merchandise, advertisements, educational
materials, or publicity carried out or produced by The Embassy of Mexico as well as to be
published in the Embassy’s website, social networks and newsletter without further notice or
compensation. The Embassy of Mexico can publish or decline to publish, or use or decline to use,
any submitted artwork at sole discretion. In turn, the contestant still retains the all property rights
as well as rights to use and publish their artwork.
9. The contestants of Camaradas must cover any cost related to their artwork transportation and
themselves as well.
10. The contestants must cover the installation and de-installation of their work and the Embassy of
Mexico will not be responsible for any damage and/or loss that the art pieces might suffer
throughout the entire duration of the competition.
11. The Embassy of Mexico’s ruling is final and without appeal in all matters related to this Contest
and the awarding of the Prizes.
12. The Embassy of Mexico assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, illegible,
incomplete, postage-due, garbled or misdirected entries or entries that have been submitted
through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy the Contest Rules or for any problems or
technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers,
access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be received or traffic
congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or
damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or
downloading any material in the contest.

13. The personal data collected for this Contest will not be used for any other purposes unless
entrants provide explicit permission as indicated on the entry form. The Embassy of Mexico
collects your personal information for the purposes of registration, program evaluation and to
keep you informed about The Contest.
14. By entering this Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless The Embassy of Mexico
and their respective employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors, assigns,
from any liability for any loss or damage of any kind to the entrant or any other person in
connection with this Contest or participation in any Contest related activities, including but not
limited to the use or misuse of a prize or any portion of a prize including personal injury, death or
property damage.
15. The Embassy of Mexico reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend this
Contest should an external circumstances arise which are beyond the reasonable control of the
Embassy of Mexico. Moreover, The Embassy of Mexico is not responsible for any errors or
omissions in printing or advertising this Contest. This Contest will run in accordance with these
Contest Rules, subject to amendment by The Embassy of Mexico who reserves the right to
cancel, amend, modify or terminate this Contest or the Rules at any time in its sole discretion and
without notice.
16. Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the
rules if they participate in the Contest.

Términos y Condiciones de Camaradas
Reino Unido y México Concurso de Arte
1. El concurso estará abierto exclusivamente para artistas británicos y mexicanos que residan en el
Reino Unido. Los artistas mexicanos deben de comprobar su residencia legal en el país.
2. Toda información detallando la entrada a la competencia forma parte de éstos términos y
condiciones. Es necesario que el concursante acepte el reglamento y se acate a él.
3. Todas las propuestas deben de ser entregadas antes de las 11:59 p.m. del 13 de diciembre de
2015.
4. Todas las propuestas enviadas deben ser originales. Todas las piezas de arte deben ser creadas
por la persona que las envía y no deben haber sido publicadas en ninguna parte o haber ganado
algún concurso o premio anteriormente (esto no aplica a las piezas que integran el portafolio).
5. La propuesta no debe ser difamatoria, obscena o que viole alguna regulación o legislación.
6. Todos los concursantes deben de registrarse al concurso con su nombre, correo electrónico,
edad, dirección postal y aceptando los términos y condiciones.
7. Los ganadores serán elegidos por un panel de jueces seleccionados por la Embajada de México,
la cual se reserva el derecho de agregar o sustituir a cualquiera de los jueces sin necesidad de
notificación previa.
8. Al enviar la propuesta con la pieza de arte y el portafolio, el concursante acepta que él/ella tiene
los derechos sobre los mencionados. Al entrar al concurso, el artista da su consentimiento para
usar su nombre, pieza y portafolio en mercadotecnia, anuncios, material educativo o publicidad
llevada a cabo por la Embajada de México en su página de internet, redes sociales y boletines
informativos sin notificación previa o compensación. La Embajada de México puede publicar o

no publicar, usar o no usar, cualquier trabajo enviado y el concursante retiene todos los derechos
de propiedad igual que los derechos para publicar o usar sus piezas.
Los concursantes deberán cubrir todos los gastos y costos del transporte de sus piezas y de sí
mismos.
Los costos de transporte, montaje y desmontaje de las obras finalistas serán responsabilidad de
los concursantes. La Embajada de México no se hará responsable por el posible daño y/o pérdida
de las obras que estas puedan sufrir durante cualquier etapa del concurso.
El veredicto de la Embajada así como de los jueces que conforman el panel del concurso es final
y no podrá ser apelado.
La Embajada de México no se hará responsable por el daño o pérdida de las obras que entren al
concurso, así como reservarse el derecho a rechazar las obras que no se adecuen a las reglas del
concurso. Asimismo, la Embajada de México no se hará responsable por problemas técnicos que
imposibiliten la transmisión de la solicitud de ingreso al concurso.
Los datos de contacto personales de los concursantes que recopile la Embajada de México no se
utilizará para fines ulteriores a los especificados en estos términos y condiciones, a menos que
los concursantes otorguen su consentimiento explícito para obrar de otra manera en
circunstancias extraordinarias y no previstas en estos términos y condiciones. La Embajada de
México recopila dicha información para fines de registro, evaluación y mantener informados a
los concursantes.
Al entrar a este concurso, los concursantes están de acuerdo en deslindar a la Embajada de
México en Reino Unido de cualquier responsabilidad respecto a por la pérdida o daño de cualquier
tipo que puedan sufrir los concursantes en actividades relacionadas al concurso.
La Embajada de México se reserva el derecho de modificar, cancelar o suspender el concurso en
caso de que acontezcan circunstancias no previstas por la Embajada. La Embajada de México no
se hará responsable por errores u omisiones que puedan existir en el material publicitario
relacionado a este concurso. El concurso se regirá de acuerdo a estos términos y condiciones,
sujetos a las modificaciones que considere pertinentes la Embajada de México en Reino Unido,
que se reserva el derecho a cancelar, modificar o suspender el concurso y/o sus términos y
condiciones a su discreción y sin notificación previa.
Los concursantes deben cumplir con las reglas y términos y condiciones de este concurso y se
considerará que las han aceptado y entendido en caso de participar en el concurso.
