At the time of hire, all students will be given an end date and are required to work
until that date.

the page. From there visit the link to housing. There you will find information
about housing in the North Lake Tahoe region. Each person is responsible to
make housing arrangement. Most of our employees find places to live by checking online sources such as Craig’s List, local newspapers, local rental agencies
(Housing Connection), looking at bulletin boards and networking with other ski
area employees. Finding a place to live can be challenging. Your housing search
will be easier if you are able to arrive or contact potential housing early. If possible, we strongly suggest that you plan to obtain housing sometime before
Thanksgiving. Once hired, we will provide you with further housing resources and
information on where to look for housing.

the morning. Greet and talk with guests waiting in line. Assist adults and children who
are getting on and off chairlifts. Operate the lift system. The ideal person is someone

Description
Prepare a variety of food items in the restaurant kitchen. Tasks include: wash, clean, chop,
dice, grate, slice a variety of meat, poultry vegetables and other food items and place in
proper containers. The ideal person is Someone who has interest in cooking or food in

Description
Greet guests and welcome them to the resort, provide them with ski rental equipment in
a friendly and helpful manner and explain how to use the equipment safely. If you
prefer an indoor work environment, but are interested in skiing or snowboarding during
your break, this position allows plenty of time for that! The mornings are VERY busy
when guests are picking up equipment for the day. By mid morning the guest traffic
slows down and employees have the opportunity to take a ski break. In the afternoon, it
gets very busy again when guests are returning their equipment.
Teach children how to ski in a group environment. Provide a comfortable and safe
learning environment to your students. Assist kids with their rental equipment and lunch.
The ideal person is someone who has energy and endurance to entertain a group of 6 or
more kids for at least 6 hours! Patience is a must! No experience needed, but familiarity
with basic skiing techniques and equipment is required. This position requires advanced
English. This is an outdoor position.
Control the gates and access to our mountains. Monitor lift lines and ensure guests have
their ticket or season pass before boarding the chairlifts. The ideal person is someone
who will not mind being on your feet, walking and standing for most of the day.
Someone has confidence to enforce the rules and be strict with guests who are not
following the rules. You must be “techsavvy” and understand how to use the scanning
equipment. This position requires advanced English. This is an outdoor job.
Maintain the cleanliness of the restrooms located in the dining area by performing
general housekeeping duties. Keep supplies like paper towels and soap in stock. The
ideal person is someone who likes staying physically active, in this job you will be
walking most of the day and required to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
This person cannot be afraid to get dirty and may work alone at times. This position
requires intermediate English. This is an indoor position.
