Manzanos Enterprises, es la empresa
matriz de la familia Fernández de
Manzanos. Inició su actividad con la elaboración de vino a partir de sus viñedos en
1890. Desde entonces y gracias al paso de
varias generaciones de la familia Manzanos,
la empresa ha ido creciendo y en la actualidad son varias las empresas que la familia
posee y regenta. Ya es la quinta generación de empresarios de la familia Manzanos y esta, más si cabe, ha apostado por la
expansión internacional y la diversificación
como estrategia para seguir creciendo y
haciendo leyenda.
Las empresas de Manzanos cuentan con un
equipo humano de 120 personas, caracterizado, como su dirección, por su juventud,
formación internacional y pasión por su trabajo. Estos son los ingredientes de la receta
del éxito y la consiguiente expansión de las
empresas Manzanos.
Manzanos Enterprises is the first business
that Manzanos family set up in 1890. They
started elaborating wine from their own vineyards.
Ever since and because of the several generations
of the family running the business, the company
has grown and now they own and run some more
businesses. This is the fifth generation in
charge of the business and this one has specifically
focused on internacional growth and diversification
to continue growing and making their legend last.
Manzanos enterprises have the support of a talented human resources that, as well as the management team, is characterized by their youth, their
international education and the passion they work
with. These are the ingredients of the receipt for
success and the subsequent growth of Manzanos
enterprises.

Manzanos Wines es la división de vinos de Manzanos
Enterprises, dedicada a la elaboración de vino de DOCa
Rioja, DO Navarra y vino de España desde 1890.
Actualmente cuenta con seis bodegas distintas, fruto de
la expansión de la empresa a lo largo de las cinco generaciones de la familia.
Manzanos Wines is the wine division of Manzanos Enterprises,
engaged in the elaboration of wine of appellation Rioja,
Navarra and Wine from Spain since 1890. It now embodies
six different wineries, the result of the company’s growth during
these five generations of the family.
Mineraqua es la empresa que tiene la
concesión y se dedica a embotellar el
agua que emana de los 3 manantiales
de La Rioja. En el término municipal
de Torrecilla en Cameros se ubica la
fábrica. Peñaclara es el agua y el manantial más conocido.
Mineraqua is the company that has the license
for the use of the three water springs in La
Rioja, being Peñaclara the most famous one.
It is dedicated to bottle and pack the water and
is located in the town of Torrecilla en Cameros.

La quinta generación de la familia Manzanos decide
apostar e invertir más en viñedos. Aunque casi la totalidad
de la producción de vino era ya propia, en previsión de
las futuras necesidades por el crecimiento de la empresa,
deciden invertir más en controlar el proceso desde el
principio, desde la semilla de la vid. Viñedos Casa Manzanos reúne las inversiones de David y Víctor Fernández
de Manzanos para garantizar el estilo y calidad del vino
Manzanos en el tiempo.
Voché es el primer establecimiento dedicado a compartir y acercar la cultura del vino a la ciudad. Abierto
en 2011 en Calahorra, Voché es un punto de reunión,
cata y disfrute del vino para todos los públicos.
Voché is the first establishment dedicated to share and bring the
wine culture to the city. Opened in 2011 in Calahorra,
Voché is a meeting, tasting and driking wine venue for everyone who
enjoys wine.
The family’s fifth generation decided to focus and invest more and
more in purchasing vineyards. Although almost the whole production
came from their own vineyards, they wanted to make sure they would
have enough vineyards for the future needs of wine. To secure the style
and the quality of Manzanos wine through the years and thanks to
the growing sales, David and Víctor Fernández de Manzanos started
this company on their own to grow more vines.

Manzanos ha adquirido este negocio

Centro Porsche Pamplona is the official
Porsche dealership for Guipuzcoa, Navarra, La
Rioja and Alava states. Manzanos has purchased
this business as part of its sectorial diversification
strategy. The dealership has an exhibition
area, service, body and painting shop.

sold wine to taverners by the barrel. That first
seed of the Fernández Manzanos’ winemaking
tradition had the capacity to store 50,000 litres
of wine.
The work of Víctor Fernández de Manzanos
Medrano served as the definitive stepping stone to
the worldwide expansion of the name Fernández
de Manzanos.
In that same period, Miguel Roldán and José
Ruiz (paternal great-grandfather and grandfather
of Guillermina Roldán) ran a winery in the cellar of their home. The winery had storage tanks
and a hand press whose lever was worked by four
people to crush the grapes. They made their wine
by carbonic maceration.

La tradición vitivinícola de nuestra familia se
remonta al año 1890, cuando Lorenzo Medrano, suegro de Ramón Fernández de Manzanos
Araoz, fundó en Azagra un pequeña bodega
ubicada en los bajos de su domicilio. Vendían
el vino por cubas a los taberneros. Aquel primer embrión de la bodeguera de los Fernández
Manzanos contaba con una capacidad para albergar 50.000 litros de vino.
En el año 1940, Ramón Fernández de
Manzanos Araoz (1898-1953) y su hijo inauguraron una nueva bodega familiar en
la calle Navas de Tolosa número 85, con
capacidad para 350.000 litros de vino.

(1926-1992) fue el artífice de la expansión
y consolidación bodeguera de la familia.
En la misma época, Miguel Roldán y José Ruis
(ambos bisabuelos de Guillermina Roldán) regentaban una bodega subterránea bajo la casa
donde vivían. En ella contaban con lagos de almacenaje y una prensa de mano, en la que mediante una palanca cuatro personas prensaban
la uva. El vino se obtenía mediante maceración
carbónica.
Our family’s winemaking tradition dates back
to 1890, when Lorenzo Fernández de Manzanos Medrano, Ramón Fernández de Manzanos
Aroz’s father-in-law, founded a small winery on
the ground floor of his house in Azagra. They

In 1940, Ramón Fernández de Manzanos
(1898-1953) and his son opened a new family winery at number 85 Calle Navas de Tolosa.
This winery, which had a capacity for 350,000
litres of wine, used grapes from Navarra and
Logroño, there being no obligation to separate the
grapes from these two areas at that time.
Ramón Fernández de Manzanos became a highly reputed winemaker and helped raise the good
name of winemaking in the area. He was the true
driving force behind the family business.
En 1950 creó la bodega de Denominación
de Origen Calificada Rioja, que superó los
1,5 millones de litros de capacidad. En el
año 1965 compró otra bodega, cuya capacidad para 400.000 litros su unió a la
bodega inaugurada en 1950.
El trabajo de Víctor Fernández de Manzanos Medrano supuso el trampolín definitivo a la expansión del nombre Fernández
de Manzanos en todo el mundo.
Víctor Fernández de Manzanos Medrano (19261992) expanded the business and consolidated the
family’s winemaking reputation. In 1950, he
created the Rioja Qualified Denomination of Origin winery (when it became obligatory to separate
grapes from Navarra and those from the Rioja),
which had a capacity for more than 1.5 millions
litres. In 1965, he bought another winery, whose

El salto hacia la modernización de la bodega lo dio Víctor Fernández de Manzanos Pastor (1958-2010), quien introdujo
nuevas maneras de entender la viticultura.
Así, consiguió asentar la bodega familiar
en el siglo XXI.
Tras estudiar Ingeniería Química en el
Instituto Químico de Sarría (Barcelona)
y obtener el Master en Viticultura y Enología por la Escuela Técnica Superior de
Ingenieros Agrónomos de la Universidad

En el año 1998 surge la necesidad de
construir una nueva bodega y salir del
casco urbano de Azagra por motivos
de higiene, logística y sostenibilidad
medioambiental. Tras cumplir con los
requisitos administrativos, en el año
2002 se inician las obras de la actual Bodega Manzanos, una finca de 15 hectáreas construida de manera escalonada,
en un diseño de cuatro balcones.

Su trabajo también se volcó en potenciar
y mejorar la vida en Azagra, su localidad
natal, y en buscar nuevas fórmulas en el
vino de Rioja. Así, entre los años 1990 y
2010 fue presidente de la Comunidad de
Regantes de Azagra y San Adrián; fue el
artífice e impulsor de la concentracion
parcelaria de Azagra II (1985-1995); ocu-
After studying Chemical Engineering at the Chemistry Institute of Sarría (Barcelona) and getting a Master’s in Viticulture and Oenology from
the Polytechnic University of Madrid’s Superior
Technical School of Agricultural Engineers, he
started to work in the family winery in 1982. In
1987, he married Guillermina Roldán Ruiz and
together they built the Aldeanueva de Ebro winery
in 1990.
But Víctor Fernández de Manzanos Pastor did
not only focus on the family business. His work
also centred on boosting and improving life in
Azagra, the village of his birth, and in seeking
out new formulas for Rioja wine. From 1990 to
2010, he was Chairman of the Azagra and San
Adrián Irrigation Community; he was the architect of and driving force behind the consolidation
of fragmental holdings Azagra II (1985-1995);
he held office as Councillor in the Azagra Local Council (1987-1991); between 1992 and
2000, he was a member of the Regulating Council of the Rioja Qualified Denomination of Origin; and served as Deputy Chairman of ARUNA
(2008-2010). In recognition of his work, he was
named ‘Azagrés of the year’ in 2005.
In 1998, it was necessary to build a new winery
and leave the centre of Azagra for reasons of hygiene,
logistics and environmental sustainability. After meeting the administrative requirements, work began in
2002 on the current Bodegas Manzanos winery, a
15-hectare estate with a four-terrace design.

la sexta en Manzanos Wines e impuso el
sello Manzanos en todas las empresas del
grupo.
La incorporación de su hermano David se
produjo en 2013. David fue la pieza que
faltaba para completar el puzle. Ingeniero
industrial por la Universidad de Deusto y
por la VIA University College en Dinamarca, ocupa el puesto de director de operaciones en un momento de crecimiento
exponencial de la producción. Se incorpora cuando Manzanos Wines adquiere dos
nuevas embotelladoras, construye dos edificios nuevos para almacenaje y un labora-
torio nuevo. Se encarga de elegir, organizar y liderar este proceso de cambio para
reestructurar y reorganizar la producción
de acuerdo a las normas de calidad que se
implementan en esta época para garantizar la máxima eficiencia de la producción.

David, his younger brother, came in 2013 and
asume the role of COO, they fit together like the
pieces of a puzzle, and give the overall plan its
coherence. David in an industrial engineer by Universidad de Desuto and VIA University College
in Denmark. He stepped in when the Enterprise
was suffering a mayor revolution in terms of production: they bought two new bottling machines
and built two new warehouses and another new
laboratory to guarantee better eficiency and quality.
David had a really important role there and lead
the process of change, making sure all the colaborators would adapt to the new methods, processes
and techniques to comply by the new quality norms that we implemented.

DESDE 2010
En 2010 entra en escena y toma las riendas del negocio la quinta generación de la
familia Manzanos, liderada por el mayor
de los hermanos, Víctor, quien asume el
cargo de director general a los 20 años
de edad. Víctor estudió economía, finanzas y gestión de negocios internacionales
en London School of Economics y en la
Universidad de Navarra donde se graduó
en 2010 y en 2011 respectivamente.
Emprendedor nato, Víctor fundó su primera empresa en 2008 y puso de manifiesto su gran habilidad para operar en bolsa.
La habilidad para crear y gestionar que
poseía fue determinante en el momento
en el que se vio obligado a gestionar la
empresa que su familia fundó en 1890. A
su temprana edad supo reaccionar, gestionar el cambio y adaptarse al entorno
cambiante en el que se encontraba la economía en ese momento. Ante la profunda
crisis que sufría España, Víctor demostró

su valía y optó por la internacionalización
y la diversificación.
“La clave está en innovar y ofrecer servicios añadidos”- sentenció- y así fue como
le demostró al mundo que su empresa
apostaba por innovar, por ofrecer a sus
clientes servicios complementarios, y creó
Voché, el sello para sus wine bars, y Zabatia, la empresa del grupo Manzanos de
diseño web y marketing. Además entró en
el capital y en la gestión de Mineraqua, la
empresa de envasado de agua Peñaclara.
Las sinergias que se produjeron entre empresas y su actitud “yes we can” inició el
camino al éxito.
El crecimiento no fue solo mediante diversificación sino que su misión última
siempre fue potenciar Manzanos Wines.

In 2010 came onto the scene the fifth generation of Manzanos to run the family business. It
was Víctor, the older son who became CEO at
20 years of age. Víctor studied economy, finance
and management of international businesses in
London School of Economics and Universidad de
Navarra, and he graduated in 2010 and 2011
respectively.
Víctor was born entrepreneur, he founded his first
company in 2008 when he showed his great ability to operate on the stock markets and make money
out of it. His ability to create and manage that he
naturally has was decisive when he was compelled
to manage the business his family built in 1890.
At the early age of 20 he knew how to react, manage the change and adapt to the changing context
of the world’s economy. Faced to the deep crisis in
Spain, Víctor chose to open new markets abroad
and diversify.
“The key is to innovate and offer additional services” –he stated- and that was how he showed
the world that his company was going for innovation, and offering complementary services to their
clients. He created Voché, the brand name of his
wine bars and Zabatia, the company for marketing and web design of the group. He also becomes
shareholder and responsable for the management
of Mineraqua, the company that packs Peñaclara
wáter. The sinergies that were created and his “yes
we can” attitude started the road to success.
Diversifying was one cause for the growth of
Manzanos business but it was not the only one.
Víctor’s ultimate goal was to grow and make a not
so small contribution to his wine family business.
In less that four years he grew sales sharply, increased presence in other markets to sell in 47 different countries, designed the buildings around the
winery Bodegas Manzanos to increase capacity
and eficiency, improve infraestructure and equipment and invested in the purchase of a new winery in DO Navarra, the sixth one in Manzanos
Wines already. In four years he has truly imposed

ahora propiedad de Víctor y David.
David is the counterpoint, he is a perfectionist person, attentive to even small details, and has a great
capacity to lead, learn and develop processes and
methods to improve. He is in charge of conducting

La actividad principal de la empresa es la
elaboración y comercialización de vino
DOCa Rioja, y sus principales bodegas

de Butrago son las bodegas en las que
Manzanos elabora sus vinos a partir de
sus 250 hectáreas de viñedo propias y
más de 200 controladas.
The company is specially dedicated to the elaboration and commercialization of appellation Rioja
wine from their 250 hectares of vineyards
and some other 200 hectares that they control and elaborate in Bodegas Manzanos, Viña
Marichalar and Marqués de Butrago wineries,
Manzanos main wineries and all of them located
in appellation Rioja.

Bodegas Manzanos es la bodega principal de Manzanos Wines, el buque
insignia de la empresa donde se elaboran
y embotellan algunas de nuestras marcas
de la DOCa Rioja. Se encuentra situada en la llamada “Rioja del Reino”, en
Azagra (Navarra) y está rodeada por un
mar de viñedos propiedad de la familia
Fernández de Manzanos. Esta bodega al
estilo château se empezó a construir en el
año 2002 pero no fue hasta 2006 cuando
se empezó a trabajar en ella. El diseño fue
ideado por Víctor Fernández de Manzanos Pastor, padre del actual CEO, quien
creó la bodega perfecta para garantizar la
máxima calidad del vino ayudándose de
la arquitectura.
Tenía una mentalidad de puertas abiertas
a su verdadera casa, Bodegas Manzanos.
Se encuentra en lo alto de una pequeña
colina alejada del núcleo del pueblo. Su
ubicación es perfecta ya que al estar en
alto permitió llevar a cabo el diseño de
las cuatro plantas subterráneas para
depósitos de hormigón y que cada planta
acogiera un proceso distinto de la elaboración del vino, de forma que el vino descienda de una planta a otra ayudándose
de la gravedad y así evitar la manipulación
por bombeo.

of Manzanos Wines, is the flagship of the
company and most of our appellation Rioja
great wines are made. It is based in what is called
“Rioja del Reino”, in Azagra (Navarra), and is
surrounded by a sea of vineyards owned by the
family Fernández de Manzanos. The châteu-style
winery was built from 2002 to 2006 and it was
designed by Víctor Fernández de Manzanos Pastor, the father of the current CEO who created the
perfect winery to guarantee the utmost quality of
the wine through the use of architecture.
He was very open-minded about showing and
visitors his winery, that he considered home. He
used one of these that his family owned in the
surroundings of their home town in a hill that he
used to his advantage and build the four floors
underground to accommodate concrete deposits and that every floor could be for a different
winemaking process. He used gravity to avoid
pumping.

comenzó su andadura bodeguera en la
localidad de Azagra, donde llegó a tener
tres bodegas, dos de ellas siguen en la
actualidad en uso y reformadas.

their winemaking business in Azagra, their home
town and where they grew to have three wineries.
Two of them are being used and have been reformed.
Sin embargo, el crecimiento del negocio
les creó a la necesidad de ampliar capacidad de elaboración. Construyeron entonces
la bodega Marqués de Butrago en Aldeanueva de Ebro. Toma su nombre de los
viñedos adquiridos por la familia en 1937
a un Marqués del término de Butrago,
situado en la localidad de Aldeanueva de
Ebro y cuya fruta se utilizaba para hacer el
vino crianza y reserva del mismo nombre.
The business kept growing and they needed to increase capacity. They built then Marqués de
Butrago winery in Aldeanueva de Ebro.
It takes its name from the vineyards that the family bought in 1937 to a Marqués in the old days
Butrago territory that is part of Aldeanueva de
Ebro. The fruit of these vines is used to elaborate
Marqués de Butrago crianza and reserva.
En la actualidad esta bodega está destinada a la elaboración de crianzas y reservas de estilo conservador Rioja y la
marca Marqués de Butrago ha conseguido
ser una de los productos más vendidos de
Manzanos gracias a su diseño tradicional

La bodega Viña Marichalar se encuentra en Azagra, es la primera bodega
DOCa Rioja de la familia Fernández de
Manzanos que se estableció cuando por
primera vez se creó la Denominación.
Se empezó elaborando DOCa Rioja que
se comercializaba a granel hasta que la
familia apostó por la comercialización
en botella por la fluctuación del precio
del mercado del vino. Se utilizó la marca
Viña Marichalar porque se acababan de
adquirir las viñas que la familia arrendaba
hacía muchos años a la familia Marichalar. La bodega sigue en uso, reformada
y, ahora también, ampliada para ganar
capacidad de elaboración y de crianza.

Viña Marichalar winery is located in Azagra,
it was the first appellation Rioja winery of

established when the appellation was created.
They started making Rioja wine that was sold
in bulk until the family focused in selling by bottle
because of the changes in price in the wine bulk
market. They used the name Viña Marichalar
because they had just bought the vineyards that
they used to rent to the family Marichalar. The
winery is now being used and has recently been
renovated to increase capacity to elaborate and
age wine.

encuentra ubicada en la localidad de
Enériz, cerca de Pamplona. Allí se elaboran nuestros vinos DO Navarra.
esta bodega, de construcción moderna y
dotada de una maquinaria avanzada ha
supuesto la expansión en DO Navarra
de Manzanos Wines, que ya poseía
cinco bodegas más en las provincias de La
Rioja y Navarra. Fue adquirida en 2014
para poder elaborar las uvas DO Navarra
que la familia poseía en el municipio de
Cárcar. El hecho de ser una bodega nueva
y tener espacio para ampliar capacidad
de elaboración, crianza y embotellado
ha sido determinante en la adquisición e
incorporación a Manzanos Wines.
En el municipio de Cárcar tenemos viñas
de variedades chardonnay, syrah, tempranillo, graciano y garnacha. Todas estas
hectáreas se encuentran en una meseta
soleada y cuentan con sistema de riego por
goteo. Manzanos apuesta, como siempre,
por viñas en espaldera, para asegurar que
cada racimo recibe la misma cantidad de
sol y de agua y garantiza la sanidad óptima del viñedo.

Castillo de Enériz winery is located in a
village near Pamplona called Enériz. There, we
elaborate appellation Navarra wines from
our own vineyards located in Cárcar. This modern
winery is equipped with the latest technology and
has allowed the expansion of the Manzanos
Wines in appellation Navarra. It has been an
addition to Manzanos since 2014 in order to elaborate the grapes we had in Navarra and the fact
that it is very spacious and we can increase the
elaboration, aging and bottling capacity whenever
we want has been a key reason to purchase it.
Manzanos owns 60 hectares of vineyards of
chardonnay, syrah, tempranillo, graciano and
garnacha varieties in Cárcar. All of them are
located in a sunny plateau and have drip irrigation systems. Manzanos has almost all the vines
in trellis to ensure that every bunch of grapes
receives the same quantity of sunlight and water.
This way we can guarantee the best health condition of the vines.

Bodegas El Lagar de la Aldea se encuentran en la localidad de Azagra, al sur

Son las bodegas con las que la familia Fernández de Manzanos comenzó hace más
de 125 años, en 1890, la elaboración y
comercialización de sus vinos cuando aún
no existían las denominaciones de origen.
Han reformado las instalaciones y siguen
elaborando el clásico vino de siempre
pero aplicando las nuevas técnicas y
tecnologías adquiridas en estos 125 años.
No solo hacen la marca El Lagar de la
Aldea, sino que tienen otros vinos como
Portil de Lobos, La Heredada, Marqués
de Araiz y Davne.

La quinta generación de la familia
Manzanos decide apostar e invertir más
en viñedos. Aunque casi la totalidad de
la producción de vino era propia, quieren
invertir en controlar el proceso desde
el principio, desde la semilla de la vid.
Viñedos Casa Manzanos reúne las
inversiones de David y Víctor Fernández
de Manzanos para garantizar el estilo y
calidad del vino Manzanos en el tiempo.
La empresa fundada en 2011 engloba
60 hectáreas de viñedo en el término
municipal de San Adrián y todas ellas
amparadas por la Denominación de
Origen Calificada Rioja. Estos terrenos, propiedad de los hermanos David y
Víctor Fernández de Manzanos, se destinan al cultivo de las variedades graciano,
tempranillo, garnacha y sauvignon blanc.
En los últimos años han apostado por
comprar viñedos de graciano, una variedad delicada de cultivar que, sin embargo,
despliega su potencial en este clima fresco,
soleado y seco del valle del Ebro. A partir
de estos nuevos viñedos y apostando por
ampliar la gama de vinos de autor, han
elaborado dos monovarietales de graciano
de distinto estilo y público objetivo.

Manzanos’ fifth generation decided to invest
more in vineyards. Although almost the whole
production was from their own vines, they wanted
to make sure they could control all the process from
the beginning, from the seed of the vine. Viñedos
Casa Manzanos joins the investments of both
David and Víctor Fernández de Manzanos to
guarantee that Manzanos wines style and quality
is the same over time.
The company was founded in 2011 and includes
60 ha of vineyards in San Adrián, all of them
belong to apellation Rioja. This land, owned
by David and Víctor Fernández de Manzanos is
used to grow graciano, tempranillo, garnacha and
sauvignon blanc grape varieties. Lately their focus
has been graciano grape, it is a delicate grape to
grow that, however, unfolds its potential in this
cool, sunny and dry climate. Using these graciano
vines and devoted to widen our range of signature
wines, we have created two graciano monovarietals
of completely different style and target audience.

PEÑACLARA SHOULD BE CONSIDERED THE “WATER WITH

Mineraqua es la empresa que tiene la
concesión y se dedica a embotellar el
agua que emana de los 3 manantiales
de La Rioja. En el término municipal
de Torrecilla en Cameros se ubica la fábrica. Peñaclara es el agua y el manantial
más conocidos.
Abrió su planta en 1974 y en sus múltiples
embotelladoras se envasa el agua procedente de los tres distintos manantiales. Los
tres manantiales disponen de una capacidad acuífera de más de mil millones de
litros de agua mineral natural de primera
calidad y cuentan con una producción
total de más de 20 millones de litros, de los
que 16 millones, corresponden a las ventas
de Peñaclara.
Se realiza mediante dos líneas con una
capacidad de 16.000 botellas/hora cada
una y otra adicional con capacidad para
9.000 botellas/hora.
La empresa cuida, protege y garantiza con su prácticas, la conservación del
medioambiente haciendo un especial
hincapié en el desarrollo rural riojano.
Esto hace que Peñaclara merezca ser catalogada como “El Agua con Denominación”.
En la actualidad es propiedad de la familia Briones y de la familia Fernández
de Manzanos.

Mineraqua is the company that has the license to use and bottle the water from the three
different springs of La Rioja state. The
production plant is located in a small village called Torrecilla en Cameros- Peñaclara is the most
famous brand and spring.
It opened its doors in 1974 and it has some big
bottling machines that can bottle 16000 bottles per
hour each plus another one that helps with 9000
bottles per hour. The springs have a capacity of
more than a thousand million of litres of the utmost
quality of water. They produce 20 million litres per
year, 16 of which are from Peñaclara spring.
The company looks after, protects and
guarantees the conservation of the
environment with their practices. They are
rally after the development of rural áreas of La
Rioja. This is one reason why Peñaclara should be
considered the water with an appellation.
Mineraqua is now owned by Briones and

PEÑACLARA
Peñaclara es sinónimo de pureza, bienestar, salud, equilibrio y sabor, con lo mejor
de los montes riojanos, fruto de una tierra
llena de tradiciones.
El manantial de Peñaclara ya se utilizaba
en tiempo de los romanos y se conocían las
propiedades y beneficios del agua Riva los
Baños (actualmente Peñaclara), referenciado en una carta de donación en 1029.
En 1974 un grupo de empresarios riojanos compró los derechos del manantial y
el balneario y constituyeron la sociedad
Peñaclara, nombre con el que hasta la
actualidad se ha comercializado el agua.
When we talk about Peñaclara, we mean purity, well-being, health and flavour, with the best
properties of La Rioja hills. This is the fruit of a
land full of tradition.
Peñaclara spring has been used since the Romans,
as we can prove with a bill of rights from 1029.
They already knew about the properties and benefits of the water from Riva los Baños (old name
of the spring).
In 1974 a group of Rioja enterpreneurs bought
the license of using the springs and they set up the
company that received the name of Peñaclara. This
name is the brand of our main products now.

SAN MILLÁN
Fue en 2007, cuando el manantial “Los
Tilos” fue adquirido por Mineraqua,
S.A., y se procedió a cambiarle el nombre a Manantial San Millán y obtener
el reconocimiento de mineral natural.
El agua Manantial San Millán, se extrae
desde un acuífero a 156 metros de profundidad que le proporciona una mineralización
débil, indicada para dietas bajas en sodio.
It was in 2007 when the spring called “Los
Tilos” was bought by Mineraqua S.A. The
name was changed to San Millán and they obtained the recognition of mineral natural water.
San Millán water is obtained from an 156 metres
underground acuifer, the water coming from here has
a weak mineralization, ideal for a low-sodium diet.
