Estimados amigos,
Dear Friends,
Es motivo de gran satisfacción el que pueda dirigirme a vosotros por tercer año consecutivo y pueda hablar de que Barcelona ya tiene por fin la feria que merece.
I find it immensely satisfying to address you for the third year in a row and be able to tell
you that, at last, Barcelona is today able to proudly boast the kind of trade show it deserves.
En nuestra segunda edición, celebrada el pasado mes de febrero, el ambiente que se respiró durante los tres días de feria recordó al de tiempos mejores. Una feria realmente representativa, con marcas que hacía tiempo que no se prodigaban y con un número de stands
más que aceptable para los tiempos que corren. Los visitantes profesionales estuvieron
con nosotros, fruto de las alianzas con los medios de comunicación del sector profesional,
con los gremios y las asociaciones, así como con el trabajo conjunto con los expositores y
con una extensa programación de actividades profesionales gratuitas. Debo decir que seguimos apostando porque nuestra feria sea la más rentable para los expositores, con unos
precios ajustados y con un buen flujo de visitantes que aseguren el retorno de la inversión.
Over the three days of our last event in February, there really was a feeling that at last things
were getting better. It was a truly representative show, with a display of brands such as had
not been seen for some time, and a more than acceptable number of stands, particularly given the economic climate. The professional trade visitors that accompanied us were brought
on board through alliances we had successfully establishing with the dedicated trade media,
professional guilds and associations. Likewise, they were attracted by the great work we
had done together with our exhibitors and by the extensive programme of free professional
activities on offer. Our main goal is still to ensure the show offers exhibitors the best possible
returns, the fairest rental rates and an outstanding turnout in terms of the number of visitors,
and, at the end of the day, an outstanding return on investment for them.
Ahora es el momento de crecer. Para la edición de 2015 aprovecharemos la gran funcionalidad de la magnífica instalación que es el Centro de Convenciones Internacional de Barcelona CCIB-FÓRUM, dedicando un mayor espacio a la exposición para poder acoger a nuevos
expositores y a un mayor número de visitantes, pero siempre respetando la necesaria separación entre peluquería y estética. Seguiremos apostando por las líneas estratégicas que
nos han dado hasta ahora un excelente resultado como son la alianza con
eventos profesionales de calidad y la depuración de nuestras bases de datos
de profesionales. En este sentido volveremos a coincidir con la celebración
de las Jornadas Llongueras e intentaremos ampliar los acuerdos con otras
entidades, y seguiremos trabajando para conseguir un mayor número de
visitantes profesionales del resto de España y de países cercanos.
Tanto si ya confiaste en nosotros o si lo vas a hacer por primera vez en este
proyecto que iniciamos ahora hace ya 3 años, no dudes que vamos a dar lo
mejor de todo nuestro equipo para seguir cumpliendo con todos vuestros
objetivos como expositores.
Now is the time to grow. For the 2015 event, we will be taking full advantage of the excellent
functionality of the magnificent facilities of the Barcelona International Convention Centre
CCIB-FÓRUM, with a larger footprint than before in order to accommodate our new exhibitors and burgeoning public, while maintaining that essential divide between the hairdressing and beauty professions. We remain true to the strategic approach that
has, up to now, always worked so well for us, including the establishment
of alliances with other top quality trade events and the painstaking maintenance of our professional database. So, once again our event will be held
together with Jornadas Llongueras. Likewise, we shall attempt to extend
out partnerships with other organisations, with a view to drawing in an even
larger public from Spain and the surrounding countries.
Whether or not you have travelled with us before, or this is the first time you
walk this road, one upon which we first embarked three years ago, let us
assure you that every member of our team will give his/her all to ensure that
the goals of you, our exhibitors, are amply met.

La Peluquería volverá a tener a Barcelona
como punto de encuentro de los
profesionales. Ampliaremos el espacio
de exposición para dar cabida a nuevas
marcas y a un mayor número de
visitantes de otras zonas.

professionals. We have extended the
exhibition area to host new brands
and allow sufficient space for the
increasing number of visitors from
other parts of the world.

Estrenamos las Salas de Formación, en las que organizaremos Ateliers
Técnicos para grupos de profesionales que podrán practicar in-situ los
conocimientos que les transmitirán reconocidos profesionales y marcas
como Luis Romero, Passaró,.. entre otros.
This year we feature for the first time our Classrooms where we will
feature Technical Ateliers for groups of professionals who, in-situ, will be
able to practice the new techniques taught by renowned professionals
and brands, such as, Luis Romero, Passaró,.. and many more.

Las uñas y el maquillaje seguirán con su crecimiento tanto en expositores
como en visitantes, con un mayor protagonismo del Aula Abierta, en la
que los expositores mostrarán sus últimos lanzamientos, celebrándose en
paralelo a la feria la II edición del Campeonato Internacional de Uñas en
colaboración con Beauty Düsseldorf.
The Nails and Make-up Show continues to grow, with more exhibitors
and visitors and greater emphasis on our Open Atelier, where our
exhibitors will be showing their latest launches. The show will
coincide with the 2nd International Nails Championship,
organized in collaboration with Beauty Düsseldorf.

ellas estará delante del Centro de Convenciones
La autovía C-31 conecta directamente el aeropuerto con Barcelona. Para entrar
en la ciudad se puede tomar la Gran Vía o la Avenida Diagonal, que son los
accesos más directos al centro de la ciudad, y la Ronda de Dalt y Ronda
del Litoral, que rodean la ciudad. La manera más directa de llegar al CCIB
es a través de la salida 24 de la Ronda del Litoral. En caso de acceder al
