Características
Las principales características de este nuevo producto son las siguientes:
• Este producto no contiene plomo o acero.
• Los perdigones se basan en una aleación de 4 metales de nula toxicidad
(Zinc, Estaño, Bismuto y Aluminio). Su uso puede desarrollarse para cualquier
modalidad de caza y tiro: Foso, Olímpico, Compact, etc.
Characteristics.
The main characteristics of the new product here described are the following:
• These do not contain lead or steel.
• These pellets are based on a new alloy of 4 metals of negligible toxicity (Zinc,
Tin, Bismuth and Aluminum). Its use could comprehend all kinds of small game
hunting and shooting in all forms: Clay, Olympic, Compact, Trap, etc.

resultados obtenidos en cuanto a rendimiento, ya que el producto alcanza
velocidades finales de impacto superiores a la del perdigón de plomo con
presiones más bajas (entre 450 y 550 bares, dependiendo de la carga).

• From a ballistic point of view, it is important to highlight the excellent
performance results obtained, as the product achieves higher speed rates than
lead shot pellets at a lower pressure (between 450 and 550 bars, depending

Estudios de toxicidad.
Con la información existente, el uso del perdigón alternativo de Azor
Ambiental, implica una ventaja medioambiental comparado con el
perdigón de Pb, ya que su componente mayoritario ha sido analizado
y certificado por la Universidad Pública de Toxicología de Elche como
material que presenta una toxicidad muy baja en humanos y otros
animales, haciendo especial hincapié en las aves.

With the existing information, the use of Azor’s alternative shot
implies a safety advantage compared to Pb based shot, as its major
component has been certified by the toxicology department of a
spanish public university to present very low toxicity risk on humans
and other animals, emphasizing this characteristic on birds behavior.

• Con este tipo de munición no es necesario realizar ninguna
modificación a las escopetas convencionales. Más de 75.000
cartuchos han sido disparados en dos modelos diferentes de
escopeta (Beretta Semiautomática y Blaser superpuesta) sin haber
apreciado ningún daño en los cañones u otro componente del arma.
• En relación a la maquinaria de carga, se han cargado más de 120.000
cartuchos sin haber apreciado problemas de carga o daños en la
máquina, alcanzando la misma velocidad de carga que se alcanza con
el plomo.
• La energía cinética de impacto es al menos igual que los perdigones
de plomo, característica que se vuelve más evidente en tiros de larga
distancia, donde el disparo termina con mayor velocidad.
• It is not necessary to make any barrel modification to the shotgun.
More than 75.000 rounds have been tested on two different shotgun
models (Semiautomatic Beretta and O&U Blaser) not being
appreciated any barrel damage nor in any other gun component.
• With regard of the shot shell loading machines, after loading more
than 120.000 cartridges there are no problems or damages being
observed, reaching the same loading speed used for lead shot
cartridges.
• Target impact energy is at least equal than lead pellets, characteristic
which turns to be more evident in long range shots, where targets are
hit with a higher final velocity.
