Parents and Teachers Working Together To Make Education Special
The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) welcomes you to our Montevallo Elementary School
community. Our fun activities and events throughout the year provide wonderful opportunities for you to
meet others and to become involved in your child’s educational experience at MES!
We sponsor a variety of fund-raising, teacher/staff appreciation, student enrichment and communitybuilding activities. Our PTO activity announcements are published both in our PTO newsletter, The
Bulldog Gazette, sent home monthly to students as well as here on the web. See “Event Announcements”
on this website for news of upcoming events.
Come learn more about the work of the PTO! You are invited to attend PTO Board meetings held on the
second Monday of each month at 6:30pm in the MES Lunchroom.
Please join us this school year. Help us build a strong community. MEMBERSHIP IS FREE!
