Josep Lluís Bonet Ferrer

Josep Lluís Bonet has been President of Fira de Barcelona’s Governing Board since September
2004.
Born in Barcelona, on December 4th 1941, he is married and has 12 children. He graduated in
Law from the University of Barcelona (winning an outstanding degree award) in 1963. He
graduated Suma Cum Laude with a PhD in Law from the same university (winning an
outstanding doctorate award) 1976-1977.
Tenured Professor, selected through a competitive exam, of Political Economy and Public
Treasury at the Faculty of Law, University of Barcelona, from 1984 to 2011.
President of the Freixenet Group since March 1999.
President of Fira 2000, S. A. since March 2004.
President of the Hispano-Japanese bilateral committee of Chambers of Commerce since 2003.
President of the AMRE (Asociación de Marcas Renombradas Españolas) and President of the
Fundación Foro de Marcas Renombradas Españolas since 2002. President of ANDEMA
(Asociación Nacional para la Defensa de la Marca).
