BASES PARTICIPACIÓN
IV FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DONA I CINEMA
MUJER Y CINE – WOMAN & FILM
1. OBJETIVO
En DONESenART nos planteamos la construcción de un espacio vivo de creación e
investigación escénica y social dirigido por mujeres, fomentando la difusión de sus
iniciativas y producciones, promoviendo la igualdad de oportunidades en las Artes
Escénicas, fomentando la desaparición de prácticas discriminatorias respecto a las
mujeres.
Por esta razón desde el 2011 se celebra el Festival Internacional Dona i Cinema –
Mujer y Cine – Woman & Film, una semana dedicada al cine hecho por y para
mujeres,
con exhibición de una selección de largometrajes, cortometrajes,
documentales, videocreación y animación, realizados por mujeres.
El festival celebra su 4ª edición de 16 al 22 de enero de 2017.

3. ELEGIBILIDAD
Todas las películas deben
preselección:
cumplir las siguientes normas para participar en la
- Estar realizados por una o varias mujeres de cualquier país.
- Estar realizados a partir del 1 de enero del 2013.
4. INSCRIPCIÓN
La fecha límite de presentación es el 21 de noviembre de 2016. La inscripción para
participar en el Festival es gratuita (excepto fees de plataformas online).
Modalidades de inscripción:
1. A través de la plataforma Festhome
2. A través de la plataforma Movibeta
3. Envío de una ficha de inscripción y enlace protegido (vimeo) a
[email protected]
4. Envío de la copia física de la ficha de inscripción y DVD a la siguiente dirección:

En el caso de producciones enviadas desde otros estados, indicar en el sobre:
“Por motivos Culturales, sin valor comercial”/”For Cultural Purposes only, NON
commercial value”.
Gastos de envío a cargo de las participantes.
Los trabajos cuyo idioma no sea el español, deberán estar subtitulados en español o
inglés para el proceso de selección.
5. TRABAJOS SELECCIONADOS
Se notificará a la persona que realizó el registro e informará de las instrucciones para
el envío de la copia de proyección (H264). El Festival comunicará posteriormente si la
película no fue seleccionada.
Para la exhibición de los distintos trabajos será necesario enviar por correo
electrónico:
- Stills, Poster y foto de la directora. (Versiones de 1MB + 100K, tanto apaisado como
vertical).
- En un único doc (PDF y Word): Logline (una línea) + sinopsis (un parágrafo) +
Biofilmografía de la directora (un parágrafo) + ficha técnica y artística.
- Trailer (si disponible).
Los gastos de transporte del material y la copia de proyección correrán a cargo de las
participantes. Las copias no serán devueltas y pasarán a formar parte del archivo de
DONESenArt.
6. VERSIONES
Todas las copias de proyección de las películas seleccionadas en las distintas
secciones del Festival se presentarán en versión original, y aquellas cuya lengua
original no sea el castellano deberán incluir subtítulos en este idioma y en inglés. En
caso de no tener la versión con los dos subtítulos, se requiere una copia en Word de
los diálogos no incrustados.
7. PROGRAMACIÓN Y DERECHOS DE EXHIBICIÓN
Durante la celebración del certamen, la organización se reserva el derecho de exhibir
las películas seleccionadas en cuantas sesiones públicas estime conveniente. A este
respecto, las productoras cederán los derechos para la exhibición pública de sus
películas durante el tiempo de celebración del Festival sin coste alguno para el mismo.
Por el mero hecho de participar, quien posea los derechos del trabajo autoriza la libre
reproducción de imágenes e insertos (máx. 1 minuto) de su trabajo en prensa,
televisión y publicaciones varias durante la promoción del Festival.
8. JURADO
Un jurado compuesto por especialistas en las distintas aéreas del audiovisual otorgará
menciones honoríficas para cada uno de los apartados a concurso.
9. ACEPTACIÓN DE LAS BASES
La participación implica la aceptación de las presentes bases.

MUJER Y CINE – WOMAN & FILM
11. OBJECTIVES
DONESenART aims to generate a live space of artistic and social creation and
investigation. A space led by women, which divulgates their works and productions,
promoting equal opportunities in Performing Arts and fostering the end of
discriminative practices towards women.
For this reason since 2011 we run the International Festival Dona i Cinema – Mujer
y Cine – Woman & Film, a week dedicated to cinema made by and for women, with
the exhibition of a selection of features, shorts, documentaries, animation and video
art. All made by women.
The festival will celebrate its 4th edition from 16th to 22nd of January 2017.

13. ELEGIBILITY
All films must comply with the following conditions in order to participate in the preselection process:
- The director must be a woman (or several women) from anywhere in the world.
- Being produced after 1st January 2013.
14. INSCRIPTION
The deadline to submit a film is 21st of November 2016. There is NO submission fee
(except online platforms fees).

In case of films sent from abroad, please mark on the envelope:
”For Cultural Purposes only, NON commercial value”.
Shipping cost of any material will be covered by the participants.
Films which the original language is different than Spanish, must be subtitled in
Spanish or English for the pre-selection process.
15. WORKS SELECTED
The person that submitted the film will be notified about the selection and will be
instructed about the sending of the projection copy (H264).
The Festival will contact the films that have not being selected further on.
For the exhibition of the works the following material must be sent via e-mail:
- Stills, Poster and photos of the director (1MB + 100K, portrait and landscape)
- In one document (PDF and Word): Logline (1 line) + Synopsis (1 paragraph) +
Bio/Filmography of the director (max 2 paragraphs) + Cast and Crew and Technical
Spech.
- Trailer (if available).
The costs of shipping the material will be covered by the participants. Projections
copies will not be returned and will become part of DONESenART’s filmic archive.
16. VERSIONS
All films in all different sections of the festivals will be exhibited in their original
versions. Films which original language is different from Spanish must include subtitles
in this language as well as English. In case one of the two subtitles is not available in
the video, we kindly request a dialogue list (Word) of the not embedded dialogues.
17. PROGRAMME AND EXHIBITION RIGHTS
During the celebration of the Festival, the organisation reserves the right to exhibit the
selected movies in as many sessions as it deems convenient. For that respect,
producers and/or right-holders will cede the right for public exhibition of their movies
during the entire celebration of the Festival with no additional charges. For the simple
fact of participating, the right-holders authorise the free reproduction of images of the
work (max. 1 minute) for press, TV and promotional purposes.
18. JURY
A jury, formed by specialists in different areas of the film industry, will award Special
Mentions for each one of the sections.
19. ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS
The submission implies the acceptance of these rules and regulations.
