3. A motion to approve the agenda was made and was seconded.

4. A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes from the

May 24, 2016 DELAC meeting and was seconded. The minutes
were approved.
5. Isabel gave an overview of the Consolidated Application and
Isabel Silva
Reporting System (CARS) Spring 2016 for DELAC to review and
advise on. A description of state and federal categorical funds
allocations and proposed budget expenditures for EUSD programs,
including an explanation of services for (Title I, II, III). Title 1
Improving Academic Achievement for the Disadvantaged, Parent
Involvement Policies and School Program Improvement, Title 11
Staff Training and Recruiting, and Title 111 Part A LEP and Part A
Immigrant Funds.
DELAC members provided input and indicated their support and
approval of the applications by directing the DELAC president to
sign it. The CARS application will be presented to the EUSD
Board of Trustees for approval on June 21, 2016. The June 8, 2016
DELAC Minutes will be posted on the EUSD website.
6. DELAC meeting dates and topics were discussed. DELAC

representatives proposed meeting dates be held on Thursday
afternoons. Our next DELAC meeting will be scheduled for
September 2016.
7. Reviewed DELAC survey results with representatives. Survey
results indicated the majority of parents would like additional
training in the following top three areas; academic support, health
& wellness, and technology.

3. Una moción se hizo para aprobar la agenda del día y fue secundada.

4. Una moción se hizo para aprobar las actas del 24 de mayo 2016 y

5. Isabel dio un resumen de la Solicitud Consolidada y del Sistema de

Reporte CARS de Primavera 2016 a DELAC para que lo revisaran
y aconsejaran. Se dio una descripción de los fondos categóricos
estatal y federal para asignación y una propuesta de gastos del
presupuesto para los programas de EUSD, incluyendo una
explicación sobre servicios de (Titulo 1, 11, 111). Título 1
Mejorando el Rendimiento Académico a los Estudiantes de Bajos
Recursos, Políticas de Participación de Padres y Programa de
Mejoramiento a las escuelas, Titulo 11Entrenamiento del Personal y
Reclutamiento, y Titulo 111 Parte A LEP y Titulo 111 Parte A
Inmigrantes.
Miembros de DELAC proporcionaron información e indicaron su
apoyo y aprobación de la solicitud dirigiéndose al presidente de
DELAC a firmarla. La solicitud de CARS será presentada a la
Junta de Síndicos de EUSD para su aprobación el 21 de junio de
2016. La acta de la reunión DELAC del 8 de junio de 2016 se
publicara en la página web de EUSD.
6. Se discutieron las fechas y temas para las reuniones DELAC. Los

representantes de DELAC propusieron que las fechas de las
reuniones se celebraran los Jueves por las tarde. La próxima
reunión DELAC está programada para septiembre 2016.
7. Se revisaron los Resultados de las Encuestas DELAC. Los
resultados de la encuesta indicaron que la mayoría de los padres

desean información adicional en las siguiente tres áreas; apoyo en
las tareas, salud y bienestar, y computación.
8. La reunión concluyo a 5:30 PM.
