Falsification of Information Statement
Anyone falsifying information in the registration steps for the purpose of enrollment is subject to
penalties provided by Sec. 37-10 of the Penal Code, which is a third degree felony or Class A misdemeanor.
If a student is enrolled on the basis of false information the person giving false information is financially
liable to the district for the number of days enrolled multiplied by the average per pupil expenditure cost
on a daily basis.
Texas Education Code 25.002 (d)
When accepting a child for enrollment, the District shall inform the parent or guardian enrolling the child that
presenting false information or false records for identification is a criminal offense under Penal Code 37.10 and that
enrolling the child under false documents makes the person liable for tuition or other costs as provided below.
Texas Education Code 25.001 (h)
A person who knowingly falsifies information on a form required for a student’s enrollment in the District shall be liable
to the District if the student is not eligible for enrollment, but is enrolled on the basis of the false information. For the
period during which the ineligible student is enrolled, the person is liable for the maximum tuition fee the District may
charge or the amount the District has budgeted per student as maintenance and operation expenses, whichever is
greater.
Deer Park ISD may enforce these codes to the fullest extent.

Cualquier falsificación de información en los pasos de registro a los efectos de la inscripción está sujeta a
las sanciones previstas por la Sección. 37-10 del Código Penal, que es un delito grave de tercer grado o
delito menor Clase A. Si un estudiante está inscrito en la base de información falsa la persona que da
información falsa es financieramente responsable al distrito por el número de días de inscritos
multiplicado por el costo promedio por alumno los gastos sobre una base diaria.

Al aceptar a un niño para la inscripción, el Distrito deberá informar al inscribir a sus padres o tutores del niño que la presentación
de información falsa o documentos falsos de identificación es una ofensa criminal bajo el Código Penal 37.10 y la inscripción que
el menor de documentos falsos hace que la persona responsable de la matrícula o otros costos que se indican a continuación.
Código de Educación de Texas 25.001 (h)
Una persona que a sabiendas falsifique información en un formulario requerido para la inscripción de un estudiante en el Distrito
será responsable ante el distrito si el estudiante no es elegible para la inscripción, pero está inscrito en la base de la información
falsa. Para el período durante el cual está inscrito el estudiante elegible, la persona es responsable de la matrícula máxima que el
Distrito puede cobrar o la cantidad que el Distrito ha presupuestado por alumno como los gastos de mantenimiento y operación,
lo que sea mayor.
Deer Park ISD puede hacer cumplir esos códigos en la mayor medida.
