The objetive of this project is to discover the causes of the high percentage of
leakage defective in power steering hydraulic in the area of the oil seal which are
produced in the KSS's plant because of contamination (both of internal and
external origin), with respect to the total production. Solutions and improvements
to reduce this percentage will be also proposed.
To accomplish this goal, an analysis and a weekly monitoring of pumps with this
type of defective are going to be carried out. It will be also analyzed the
effectiveness of new improvements implemented, both before the beginning of the
project and during the project.
